Amy is a therapist in private practice specializing in grief, life transitions, depression and anxiety. Originally employed as a journalist, Amy believes in the healing power of telling one’s story. Her work experience as a therapist includes the Dougy Center, hospice, and healthcare settings. She believes that too often normal grief is mistaken for pathology. She is passionate about helping people cope with and integrate loss experiences in a healthy, transformative way.  In addition to therapy, she enjoys teaching, training and writing.
